What is really cool about this Website is that they have about 9 game engines that you can try for free in which it includes RPG Maker MV, RPG Maker VX Ace, RPG Maker VX, RPG Maker XP, RPG Maker 2003, GG Maker, IG Maker & Manga Maker! If you you want to sell your Creations to the World, You can buy the Game Engine sell your own Game. The RPG Maker Community is still very active to this very day and there's has been lots of success stories from using these engines. There have been a lot of successful Youtubers who have played RPG Maker games on their channel to give the person who created the game much needed exposure. The Game Engines will have the basics tools and instructions you need to get started. If it seems you might need more resorces to your game, You can either create your own graphics, music or scripts or you can buy them from the awesome folks at http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/. If you ever played Zelda on any of the Nintendo Systems and always wondered what it would be like to create your own Maps, Characters & Stories then it can be done at your own Home using Solarus. Solarus is a Free and Open-Source Action-RPG Game Engine that is licensed under GPL v3 License and written in C++. Solarus also comes with a Game Editor called Solarus Quest Editor that's also written in C++ with Qt to help you create your Maps, Scripts, Sprites, and Manage Your Perfect Zelda Game! This Game Engine can run on many Operating Systems such as Windows, Mac, and other operating systems. A lot of the Material from this engine use a lot of Assets from "The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past" and are Properties from NINTENDO. I do not recommend using these Assets for Commerical Use. Eventhough you can't use these for commercial use it can be a good way to learn some free programming skills and make a game that can be fun for anyone that will like to play your game project. The Quest program can create Interactive Story games such as the "Choose Your Own Adventure Books" in which you can set your own story, plot, endings, and creative spin on a story. This can be great for anybody of all ages and can be a good way for anybody to get their own stories out there. Also, you don't need to know how to program in order to use "Quest" and if you do the website has there very own Forum so you can learn the tricks of the trade from someone of vast experience. The stories that you create with Quest can be played on a Web Browser, On Your Own PC, or on a App! The Great news about the "Quest" program is that its Open Source which means that this program is free to use. Which makes this even more Awesome is that Quest is Licensed under the MIT License which means you can download modify the source code do whatever you can think of with it. You can even sell your very own game made by the Quest program and You can use the Quest source code inside closed source commercial applications. You don't need to ask for permission in which the website states that you already have it. I give major props to this website and it's great that they give out the Program for everyone with a story a chance to shine with there very own stories.
