I'm the CoolAnimeHustler and today I want to talk about a Cool Website called http://www.solarus-games.org/ in which they Provide a Cool Action-RPG Game Engine called "Solarus". If you ever played Zelda on any of the Nintendo Systems and always wondered what it would be like to create your own Maps, Characters & Stories then it can be done at your own Home using Solarus. Solarus is a Free and Open-Source Action-RPG Game Engine that is licensed under GPL v3 License and written in C++. Solarus also comes with a Game Editor called Solarus Quest Editor that's also written in C++ with Qt to help you create your Maps, Scripts, Sprites, and Manage Your Perfect Zelda Game! This Game Engine can run on many Operating Systems such as Windows, Mac, and other operating systems. A lot of the Material from this engine use a lot of Assets from "The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past" and are Properties from NINTENDO. I do not recommend using these Assets for Commerical Use. Eventhough you can't use these for commercial use it can be a good way to learn some free programming skills and make a game that can be fun for anyone that will like to play your game project. Solarus is a good game engine for anyone who wants dive into their Own Action-Based RPGs. Also if you want to play anyone's own Zelda game you can visit the Website and play them as well.
